A MONUMENTAL DAY!!

Are you getting sick of my Yellowstone posts yet? TOO BAD, I am not done! Two more to endure...I must document this fabulous trip for posterity! SO THERE!! (Hannah's expression says it all!)
Here is the evidence...RICH WENT CROSS COUNTRY SKIING...I know, I know, HOLD ON TO YOUR BRITCHES! I have been begging him to go with me for over 10 years...well he couldn't stand my bitching and moaning any longer...j/k, he offered to go this year, needless to say, I was THRILLED!
Our ski trip on this very fine day(sometime between Christmas and New Year's Day) was a big deal! We haven't ever had this big of a group (consisting solely of family) before...we had 9 skiers and 2 kids riding in the ski sled...AWESOME! I was on a high...it was great! (I know, I really do need to get out more!)
SEE? I really was EXCITED!!
Tiff hauled in her camera...THANKS for the great pictures Tiffany!
Here is Grammy, Hannah, Kirk, Marshall, Tiff and Whit. We were pausing here, at the trailhead, so Kirk and Marshall could go down the hill a couple of times. They had a great time together!
Rich was too excited, he couldn't wait for us, he was off to explore the trails...he is pulling Georgia and John in the sled...can you see them?
Marshall, Tiff and Whit (Ruby and Luke stayed at the cabin with Great-Grandma, they wanted NOTHING to do with skiing!) Thanks for watching them for us Connie! Look at these champs!! They did great!
Here is that cute boy of mine, working hard, pulling the kids! Having the time of his life...I am still trying to convince him that it was, in fact, the time of his life!! (He still very much prefers down hill skiing, I'll keep working on him)
Karen and Tiff...what a good day! I love this outdoor family time!
It was beautiful too, it snowed almost the entire time we were out!
After our ski, most of us were still smiling...John was screaming! GRANDPA GEORGIA AND TIFF

There is no such thing as CABIN FEVER in Yellowstone!!

This was our view from the front door of the "Blue Cloud House" Pretty Sweet eh? We never shoveled the front deck because it was WAY to cold to use it and we like how it looked! We had a couple of days were it was much too cold and windy to be outside, I was worried that the kids would go stir crazy, but it was actually great! We all found things to do and everyone got along great! I was so impressed with all these kids!
Georgia was very generous and let everyone play with her new MOON SAND from Santa Claus! It was a hit!
The boys were thrilled to play the wii together, especially Kirk!
I promise they had fun! They enjoyed hockey, football, bowling, baseball,
boxing and more!
It was a treat to be able to get quailty time together and since we only see each other a couple of times a year, it is nice to reconnect and get to know each other again! I LOVE OUR TIME IN YELLOWSTONE!
Rich found time to log in to work...
Marshall loves being together as much as I do, what a good kid! I learned that Georgia is just about as happy as they come...unless you wake her up too early from her nap, then she may not let you put her pants back on! ha ha
Unfortunately, everyone else got to learn about what a crabby kid John is...I think this was his expression 95% of our trip! SORRY EVERYBODY!
OH YEAH! A HAPPY PICTURE! John thought he was so cool to sit at the high bar and eat like the big kids!
There is nothing like TUB TIME at the end of a long, COLD day!
Ruby and Hannah were so helpful with the "little kids!"
They were awesome! THANKS GIRLS!! Tiffany and I both appreciated all your help!
WELL AT LEAST GEORGIA THOUGHT IT WAS FUN!

Winter Wonderland

Is there anything better than a GIANT pile of snow? I THINK NOT!
Georgia LOVED to sled down it!
Marshall and Luke didn't even need a sled!
There is something GRAND about being the "KING OF THE HILL!"
I am not sure of the rules, (but TRUST me, I am sure there are RULES!) anyway, it looks pretty intense, and these tough kids were at it for hours!

John wanted NOTHING to do with it! All he was interested in is riding the "MO-cocos" (which is 4-wheeler!) Rich was so thrilled to have a riding buddy!
He even loves getting his helmet on! Isn't that funny?
Check out this COOL KID!
There is no fighting when these kids hit the snow, actually, they all got along great, all week long!
WE HAVE AWESOME KIDS IN THIS FAMILY!
It was so fun to see Ruby and Georgia enjoy each other so much...serious bonding my friends!
OH YES AND THERE WAS LOTS OF MALE BONDING TOO!
Rich and John took care of a lot of plowing...such hard work! It was COLD, COLD, COLD, but John didn't care, check out the smile on his face, if he was on the "MO-coco," that smile was there!
Off to do more "work!"
