Are we exciting enough for a BLOG?

I am not sure our lives warrant a blog, but gee, everyone else is doing it! (so Hannah tells me!) I am not usually one to follow the crowd, but I do stalk many a blog and I do so enjoy them! It is fun to peak inside and see how other's live! I have experienced some harassment from my sweet Hanny-hoo, who thinks one cannot survive or be cool without a blog, SO because of my insane desire to be as cool as a 12 year old, I have decided to give it a whirl! Blogging, is a grand way to keep friends and family up to date with all that goes on up here! Lucky for you, it is optional, YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ IT!! No pressure my friends! Life with four children ranging in ages from ALMOST 2 to ALMOST 12 is definitely exciting...there isn't a lot of sitting around for us! Everyone is involved in sports, piano lessons and various church activities, so I LIVE in my minivan! Kirk's football season just ended, as well as Ruby's soccer season, so it has let up a little. But in just a couple of weeks school will be out and swim team will start!! (and then the madness will start all over again!!) But really, I wouldn't have it any other way! Let me just say, "YAY for swimming!" It gets the kids up and out of bed early, plus it gives them ONE WHOLE HOUR of constant swimming! Those two beautiful factors equal TIRED children at night, so let me repeat myself, YAY FOR SWIMMING! I was watching Hannah, Kirk and Ruby swim at our neighbors house last night, they are a little out of shape from a winter of no swimming, but their strokes are looking great and they are ready for some action! Thank you to the Barbers for sharing their lovely swimming pool with our world champion swimmers! I know this will be a great year for all of them! WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR OUR UPCOMING SUMMER! Especially because we don't have a lot planned this year! My goal is to spend lots and lots of time with my children! (and their darling friends...don't worry Hannah!) I really want to put them first and enjoy every minute of this summer! (it is all in our attitudes, right?) I will have to remind myself to re-read this post in the middle of the summer when all I want to do is run away!! hee hee
